Our beginning

Plásticos Industriales Hondureños S.A. was born under the name of EIHSA, Envases Industriales Hondureños. At that time, the finished product was Crown Cap for the beverage industry.

Regional leaders

The production of plastic crates was incorporated and thus PLIHSA was born, becoming since then the leaders of both categories in the region.

2003

Joining SAB-Miller

PLIHSA became part of SAB-Miller, expanding our market to Caribbean clients in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

2017

Worldwide recognition

AB-InBev acquired all of SAB-Miller’s operations, turning PLIHSA into a vertical company, recognized worldwide for excellence in its processes.

Merger with Grupo Milenio

PLIHSA is now part of Grupo Milenio, a 100% Honduran corporation, focused on fulfilling the company’s dream: to be the preferred supplier of our clients and the best in our category.

Innovative philosophy

Innovation has always been a cornerstone of our trajectory, and we have implemented strategies to manage the different processes of PLIHSA, including quality and new technologies. For example, in the last year, we have installed two new video systems for molding machines in our Crown production plant.

Responsibility
with the environment

Following our commitment to take care of the environment, we make sure that we have minimal waste in our process. In addition, we offer products with recycled materials thanks to the grinding of plastic.

Plastic mill service

We grind damaged plastic crates to reintroduce them into the production process as recycled raw material.
