Honduran investors decide to found the company Envases Industriales Hondureños, S.A. (EIHSA), its first name, the objective of the then nascent company was to produce and market crown caps (or plates) for the beer industry and soft drink bottlers. With the integration of Cervecería Hondureña as the majority shareholder, EIHSA begins the export of products to Central American countries.
The production of plastic boxes is incorporated. This emergence allowed the expansion of the packaging product line and the strategic contribution to the beer and soft drink business was increased.
Under the management of SABMiller, the merger of EIHSA and PLIHSA takes place, and they receive the name PLIHSA, as a corporate name.
ABI-InBev adquirió todas las operaciones de SAB-Miller, convirtiendo a PLIHSA en una empresa vertical siendo reconocida mundialmente por la excelencia de sus procesos.
PLIHSA is now part of Grupo Milenio & Milenio Capital, a 100% Honduran company where its focus is to achieve the business objective: To be the preferred supplier for our clients and the best in our category.
